Part 1: VIP Treatment

– Prologue –

I am finally back on home soil after a SPECTACULAR, never-to-be-forgotten, whirlwind, or rather tornadolike visit to the tropical paradise, Africa’s breathtakingly beautiful daughter, Mauritius.

With it’s white sandy beaches, oceanic climate, welcoming and friendly people (for whom nothing ever is too much trouble!); this island offers a unique blend of cultural, scenic and culinary delights.

It was an exhausting but glorious week, filled to the brim with #OnlyTheBest VIP treatment that left invited guests feeling like royalty. And so, despite the jet-lag, hours of travel and the loss of my cellphone, it was definitely worth it!

The meticulously well-organized event, which well surpassed all our expectations, is undoubtedly the biggest week in African video entertainment and #OnlyTheBest DSTV and GoTV content features. A host of DSTV’s biggest channels including Sony, SuperSport, Zee TV, A+E, Disney, MTV Base, BET, Comedy Central, BBC and M-Net priewied all their latest content.

The guests saw amazing live African content, we heard what was in store for the future of TV, rubbed shoulders with African and International stars and we ate delectable cuisine that reflects the pride MultiChoice Africa feels for the multitude of cultures celebrated across its platforms.

Catch your favorite Namibian television news and entertainment station, One Africa Television, on DSTV Channel # 284 and GoTV Channel # 91. Catch the “News on One” every week night at 19h00 with a repeat at 23h00 the same evening, and if you missed it, a repeat broadcast at 06h30 the very next morning. To see what transpired at this year’s MultiChoice Africa Content Showcase Extravaganza, you can visit @multichoice_africa: Instagram, @mcashowcase on Twitter, or via #OnlyTheBest on Facebook.
