The mining industry, expressed by many as the backbone of the Namibian Economy is strongly expanding. New explorations underway and recent issuing of new licenses is prove of the strong growth the sector is currently experiencing. The Minister of Mines and Energy, Isak Katali emphasized this during the opening of the 2013 Mining Expo.
