I have lived in Namibia since Birth, but I only got the chance to see the southern part of Namibia on the 07th of December 2015, thanks to One Africa TV!
I haven’t been at one Africa for a long time, yet the experience is remarkable so far. Two weeks after I have started with my internship at One Africa TV, our department manager and my supervisor ,gave me an opportunity to travel to the southern part of Namibia, Keetmanshoop in the !Karas Region, to cover a story on 20th Annual National Cultural Festival. It is a great experience because it was my first time to witness a mass gathering of diverse ethnic groups in Namibia and my first time to be at the southern part of the country particularly, Keetmanshoop.
I saw places like Rehoboth, Mariental, Kalkrand and Keetmanshoop, places I have never thought, I will see one day. The sites and its view are really beautiful. The weather is totally different to the kind of weather I am used to, the breathing in of heavy humid air was great, though it was a challenge but I should say that it was the best adventure despite the heat!
I strongly believe that it is basically your faith, courage and greatest of all your vision and goals in life, which motivates you unlimitedly to get as far as you can in on all your journies. I have strong feelings that this is not the end, my adventure and journey with One Africa had just begun, I can’t wait for another adventure.
