On Saturday the 7th of February, Hyundai and Kia had a Fun Day at the Municipal swimming pool.
It was an open day and anybody with a valid licence could come and test-drive vehicles from Hyundai and Kia. Bank Windhoek had a “ready for action” team at the scene in case rapid financing was needed.
One Africa Television`s news presenters and their make-up artist were also there for the public to meet. Conrad Brits, Kia`s Sales Manager, promised that this was only the beginning of more to come. One Africa Television will keep you informed regarding the next Fun day.

Frans Theron, the owner of 4X4 Off-road Academy, believes that training is about making better and safer drivers. Approximately one thousand three hundred students have completed one or more of the five levels of difficulty that is offered by the Academy. 4X4 Off-road Academy provides driving solutions for field workers, fleet managers, administrators and professional drivers in off-road, defensive & security driving skills.
The WHEELS ON ONE team was invited to attend a practical session driving to the top of the very popular “Thesehands Lounge” overlooking Windhoek and the Khomas Hochland. Thesehands Lounge, at 2046m above sea level and 500m above Windhoek, is just south of Olympia and Kleine Kuppe suburbs and on a clear day, you can apparently see as far as 160km.

The Toyota Fortuner`s facelift was launched in one of the last true wilderness areas – Namibia. The event was split into two Press groups, the first group starting on Monday 26th till Wednesday 28th January and the second group starting Wednesday and ending Friday 30th.
ONE AFRICA TELEVISION`s WHEELS ON ONE team, Danie van Wyk and Johan Jooste took these pictures and filmed the entire launch for Toyota SA.
The +- 20 SA Journalists were fetched from the Walvis Bay Airport at +- 13h30 and were immediately treated to a dune experience with local tour guide, Peter van Ginkel leading the route.
Day two the group left Swakopmund for a drive trough the Moon Landscape, learning the necessary regarding the highly protected Welwitschia`s and lichons. Later the group proceeded to Spitzkoppe for lunch, and passed Henties Bay before driving back to the hotel.
Day three the party were treated to a dolphin cruise, which definitely is a photographer or journalist`s dream. Three and a half hours and a lovely seafood and champagne brunch later, the SA Journalists were taken to the Airport for departure to their respective homes.
The next group of journalists arrived and once again the fun started.
